People Need People

August 24, 2014

Pastor Gary Combs continues the “Simplify Your Life” series with this message from the book of Romans entitled “People Need People.” In a generation when people are asking, “Where do I belong?” God’s Word gives an answer. We belong in God’s family. In the book of Romans the apostle Paul told the Roman Christians that even though they had followed Christ by an individual decision they must recognize that in following Him they had become one body, connected to other believers. When we follow Christ, we become the body of Christ connected to every other believer.

First Things First

Pastor Gary Combs continues the “Simplify Your Life” series with this message from Mark 12:30. In the book of Mark, Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment. In a sense he was asked to simplify all of the writings of Scripture down to one simple statement. Jesus didn’t pause. He gave them a simple command to celebrate God with all of your love. We can hear and follow this same simple command.

Less is More

August 10, 2014

Pastor Gary Combs begins a new 4-week message series entitled “Simplify Your Life” with this message from Matthew 4:19about Christ’s simple call. Jesus challenged his disciples with a simple call: “Follow me.” Jesus called them to a relationship with Him. He called them to be Jesus-followers. Of course, this meant leaving everything else behind. He called them to simplicity, but he also called them to a radical life change. Jesus still makes this same simple call. We make it too complicated. But it’s simple. Do you want to learn how “less is really more?”
